Telling stories about people or happenings is a fascinating matter we really can’t get enough of. Piiteraq was our first production and we are already about to plan our next one in Greenland. Coming up in 2010.

Piiteraq
‚Greenland describes one of the last areas in the world with an intact nature. Especially the icebergs in the
East are way more specious than anywhere else: since the glaciers are one of a kind – steep and flat –
the forms and colors of the emanating icebergs are different as well.
Depending on the density of the ice, colors like blue, purple, white, green, silver, gold, transparent, brown and
black are represented.
Another feature of the East are its mountains – cleft, steep black and red granite rising straight out of the ocean.’source: internet
These are exactly the motives that made us long for this country. Neither we nor any other snowboard movie production had been to Greenland’s overwhelming east coast in winter since it appears inaccessible and unpredictable. The extreme conditions and the quick changes in the weather made travelling and filming a tough game to play – sometimes impossible. Nevertheless remained an enormous desire of facing this challenge, accomplished the expedition of Greenland since we got captivated by its beauty.
In company of hunters we were seeking for untracked mountains with a minimum of supplies and devices. We travelled with dog sleds and slept in tents, always aware of the polar bears hunting in the same area. Guided by our experienced friend Robert Peroni who is living in Tassilaq and successfully organized and attended several expeditions before.
Gian Simmen (Olympic Games gold medallist), Stefan Gimpl (big air world champion) and Eric Themel (big-mountain rider) joined us on this unforgettable expedition.

Pullup Orchestra
“source: myspace

Red Bull Drive By
Autumn 2005, six professional snowboarders took a road trip which led them to some of Europe’s biggest cities. Their mission was to scout as forbidden spots as possible for the Red Bull Drive By where nobody has ever snowboarded before. The mode of transport - three fat Mercedes limousines with tinted windows followed by a truck filled up with snow. The idea came from the ‘drive-by’ shootings in NY’ suburbs, where gang members used to drive through other neighbourhoods in order to shoot the enemy out of their cars. In our case - we surely used cameras to shoot!
Red Bull hired us to make a documentary of this event, which was enclosed as a free DVD in the Pleasure Snowboard Magazine.
