but we’re back with an awesome little gallery of our recent trip to greenland. although it’s more than a month ago those pictures still cross our minds. that’s why we decided to share those impressions with you in order to make you long for our documentation about this breathtaking journey, which will be released this fall. enjoy this selection captured by stefan gimpl (yes, he can not only shred like a madman but also has the view for the right angle) and humbert entress (sr.). we also would like to thank everybody who made this trip possible, especially o’neill, the north face and our local heroes robert peroni and tobias ‘the hunter’ who supported us on our expedition. sit back and enjoy - no comments needed.

while scoping around i just found this nice google search-alternative page on the web. it’s called searchme, looks pretty fancy and reminds of the flip-through function of itunes. it’s still beta but works out so far. by the way. the crew returned from greenland with tons of tons of footage. coming up with some previews soon!

our beloved website designer martin hesselmeier (unfortunately not the guy with the stache in the middle) just got awarded with the infamous Spiridon-Neven-DuMont-Prize for his instalation ‘SARoskop’. the project is dealing with the visualisation of electromagnetic waves, whereas ’small objects react sensitively to the data of the proximate proximate surrounding, transforming it into movement and interdependent oscillations’. crazy shit, huh? well, chapeau is what we say - keep on rockin’ martin!

here’s a webcam shot from the area around ammassalik, the town where our crew will head out to on friday. as for now the conditions seem to be alright for shooting but who know’s? greenland is well-know for its fast weather changes, so cross your fingers for our heroes! make sure to check the webcam frequently - maybe you can snatch a view of gian, stefan or eric cruisin down the street. we’ll try to keep you posted as good as possible about what is going on in the backcountry of GGGGGreenland. stay tuned!

we told you that we were planning something for this year. now it’s out. we’re going on a trip to greenland with gian simmen, stefan gimpl and eric themel in less than 10 (ten!) days. the aim is to shoot a documentary about challenging the extreme conditions and trying to ride some fresh pow in the eastern parts of the country using dogsleds as the only means of transport. northern lights, inuit, polar bears, blizzards and what so ever will be taped and presented to you via several television stations and for download this upcoming fall! the journey begins on april 4th. stay tuned.
